Message from the Executive Director
African Christian Ecumenical Alliance acknowledged the impact of this year flooding and high influx of the returnees from Sudan to Abyei, Raja County in Western Bahr el Ghazal and Mayom County in Unity State where ACEA operates. We thank the United Nations Population Funds (UNFPA), International Organization for Migration (IOM), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Save the Children, and Education Development Center (EDC) for their funding support to ACEA. We recognize and appreciate the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare (MoCSW), Ministry of Health (MoH) and Ministry of Peace-Building for supports and commitments to advance coordination to ease locally humanitarian response and Peace building activities in the Country. We have been encouraged by the willingness and support of the government, donors and stakeholders to delivered tremendous achievements for ACEA’s programmes. We look forward to continued collaboration and partnerships to deliver more services for flood and conflict affected populations. Our pledge is to get support to deliver services to vulnerable groups including women, Children, elderly people and people with disabilities’ potential is fulfilled.
