African Christian Ecumenical Alliance (ACEA) condemns in the strongest terms for the killing of aid workers worker in Budi, Eastern Equatoria-South Sudan.



The Aid worker was killed when a group of criminals fired at clearly marked humanitarian vehicle on 12^th May, 2021. Vehicle was part of a team of International NGOs health workers travelling from Chukudum to a health facility in Kapoeta, Budi County. It was not a first time for the aid workers to be attacked in the country.

We call on the government to bring those culprits into justice and provide safety for the aid workers across the country to the most affected children, women, person with disability and elderly people. We call on the government to strengthen the law enforcement agencies along the main road for the safety of humanitarian workers and general public.
